:P Its a fun game. I always end up as a nord with heavy armor and dual maces. I uh...i do a LOT of damage that way.

I never got my smithing level up high enough to make the dragon armor, I just enchanted the shit out of ebony. Looks pretty badass thou

I would just buy them and if they didn't have any good ones for sale I would go looking around in mines and shit. Its just a pain in the ass to sit there and mine a bunch of dumb shit thou. There is a Skyrim wiki that will tell you exactly where each type of ore is in each mine thou.

That's all the game turned into for me...farming ore and crafting. Got bored after a while and quit for like 6 months. Came back and decided to just finish the main plot. Apparently I was massively over leveled because I just breezed through it one shotting almost everything...I though it had dynamic enemy leveling but either it didn't or they capped too low. Kinda ruined it for me.

My wife had the same problem, breezing through the game, until I showed her that it had "mistakenly" set the game to easy

Like there's anything more useful than that in an Elder Scrolls game.
What was fun was in Elder Scrolls III, you could literally murder whoever you wanted; even if they were important to the main quest line. You just got a warning and telling you to revert to your last save. But if you didn't, you could kill two living Gods without a hint of regret.

I prefer the Knight of Thorns armor. I don't think I've worn vanilla armor since I got my smithing high enough to draft any mod armors.

Oh my god, I killed so many in my Morrowind playthrough. You see, I lost a crucial note for the main storyline (yes, you can lose story crucial stuff in Morrowind as well) and since I couldn't complete the storyline, and I had played far too much of the game to turn back and start over, I made it my mission to find everyone who was essential to the main quest line and murder them.
On the plus side though, I got a Soul Gem worth about 10 million gold coins, as well as a full set of Daedric Armor, which unlike Oblivion or Skyrim, was exceedingly rare. In fact, it's pretty much impossible to get a full set of the armor in Morrowind without 1) Cheating or 2) Killing Divayth Fyr.

If your on PC get the Windstad Mine mod. Dump a bunch of gold into it and you can have NPCs mine all the ore for you while your out exploring/killing stuff.

Yeah, probably. Thing was, the enemy difficulty in side quest random caves or whatever were pretty spot on but it seemed the main quest stuff was way easier. I didn't want to mess with the difficulty slider everywhere I went. It was just silly having to think and plan for some random bandit nest in a do nothing side-quest when some supposedly major badass on the main plotline went down by just walking straight in and button mashing.
I may end up playing it again as an assassin or archer or something to see if it goes any different, but as a two handed heavy something just seemed off.

I just got the DLC and started a new playthrough yesterday. Already noticing a lot of new vampire enemies, so I'm rocking a bow and destruction magic for some good ol' undead hunting.

I know, I'm playing on master and I'm having to memorize spawn points, plan out every arrow and spell use, and reload over and over till it all comes together. Feels like I'm playing Dark Souls 1 again.
